Spring 2005 Equity Matters News Sheet

TAFE Equity Strategy and Programs works closely with TAFE NSW Institutes and Curriculum Centres to improve the participation and outcomes of students from equity groups in vocational education and training. TAFE Equity Strategy and Programs consists of four equity units. These are: TAFE Disability Programs, TAFE Multicultural Education, TAFE Women’s Programs and TAFE Equity and Outreach. The four equity units work collaboratively to raise the profile of equity in TAFE NSW, achieve positive results for students who face multiple barriers to accessing vocational education and training and provide leadership at a state wide level around emerging equity strategies.
